The gala dinner of ElecNano 2013 will be held in one of the oldest wineries of the Bordeaux area.
Château Carbonnieux was founded back in the 13th century by Benedictine monks from the nearby Sainte-Croix Abbey. Nowadays, the estate belongs to the Perrin family and was listed in the Graves classification of 1959 as one of the top “Grand Cru Classés”.
Located just fifteen kilometers outside of Bordeaux near the Garonne river, the vineyard at Château Carbonnieux is situated on a hill, on gravel-rich soils typical of the region. Red and white cuvées are produced under the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit the estate and taste its wines prior to the gala dinner which is fully included in the registration fees.
